At peace on Wednesday, May 17, 1995 following a brief illness. Following her husband's transfer with Ford Motor Company from Detroit, Mrs. Adams lived in San Jose for the past 24 years.
She was active for many years in a number of community, church and school organizations including the Lucile Salter Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford and their thrift shop in Willow Glen.
A native of East St. Louis, Illinois, Mrs. Adams is survived by her husband of 52 years, Leroy. She is also survived by her loving daughters Mary Kathleen of Louisville, KY and Margaret of Belmont, CA.; and her sons, Thomas of Yorba Linda, CA; Stephen of Discover Bay, CA; and Dennis of San Francisco; and her granddaughter, Rebecca Broussand of Louisville, KY.
Memmorial Mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Los Gatos by the Rev Gerald T. Wade - Rector of the Jesuit Community, Bellarmine College Preparatory. Funeral Mass at St. Henry's Church in Belleville, Ill followed by internment in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
