HAMPTON - Edna B. Beitler, 62, a Peninsula resident since 1965, died Monday, April 5.
A native of Richmond County, N.C., she was a hostess at the Phoebus Hardee's for seven years. Mrs. Beitler was a member of Memorial Baptist Church.
Survived by three daughters, Marsha Creel of Galivants Ferry, S.C., Glenda Fleming and Libby Fleming of Hampton; a stepdaughter, Bonnie McMillen of Hampton; a son, Joe Fleming of Houston; two stepsons, Frank G. Beitler III and Donald Beitler of Hampton; four brothers, Anthony Brewer of High Point, N.C., Willie Brewer and Ashford Brewer of Wilmington, N.C., and Ollie Brewer of California; seven grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren and 14 step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral 2 p.m. today at Lawrence B. Wood Funeral Home by the Rev. Don Harvey. Burial in Parklawn Memorial Park.
