BETTY A. (RAMBY) THOMPSON
Age 92, of Springfield, OH, passed away on July 22, 2014 in Springfield Regional Medical Center.
She was born on February 7, 1922 in New Moorefield, OH, to Roy B. and Ethel M. (Strausbaugh) Ramby.
Betty was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church, a volunteer for the Rainbow Table, and was an avid seamstress and provided many knitted hats for the patients of Springfield Regional Cancer Center.
Survivors include her six children and their spouses, Connie (Cliff) Allen, Monica (Joe) Wolbert, Douglas (Joan) Thompson, Stephen (Gail) Thompson, Gregory (Martha) Thompson and Christopher (Linda) Thompson; fifteen grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Ruth Ramby and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Thompson in 2011; sisters, Marie Downing, Norene Martineau (FAG #6098417) and Barbara; and a brother, Jeff Ramby,
Burial in Calvary Cemetery, Springfield, OH.
