Mrs. Anna E. Ackerman , 71, of 15 E. Fell St., Summit Hill, died Sunday in Coaldale Hospital. She was the wife of Herman Ackerman.
A graduate of the former Palmerton Nursing School, she was a registered nurse at Gnaden Huetten Hospital, Lehighton, before retiring.
Born in Lehighton, she was a daughter of the late James and Rose (Hagenbach) Cunningham.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Summit Hill. Her husband is the only immediate survivor.
Privates services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday (today) in the Walker Funeral Home, 126 W. White St., Summit Hill.
