Bonnie J. Anderson Turano, 79, of Sulphur passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2014 in San Antonio, TX surrounded by her children. Bonnie was born on June 12, 1935 in Williams, OK to Harve and Rose Shoup Anderson. She graduated from Panama High School, Class of 1953. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters, Emma Lawrence and Shirley Autry; and her husband, of 53 years, Garland Turano.
Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Toni Marberry and husband, Ben; her son, Michael Turano; grandsons, David and Kevin Marberry and Lance and Landon Turano; great-grandson, Austin Marberry; her sister, Jean Potts and husband, Willie; and lifelong friends, George and Stella Satornino.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel, located at 107 W. Napoleon St., Sulphur, LA followed by a graveside service at Mimosa Pines South Cemetery.
