F. G. Adams

F. G. Adams, son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. George Flesher of this city, died Saturday after a short illness from typhoid fever. Mrs. Flesher left here Friday for McMinnville, Oregon, where her daughter resided, to nurse Mr. Adams, who was very ill, and he died soon after she reached there.

He leaves a wife and *two little children.

Mr. Flesher and Claude Flesher left yesterday to be present at the funeral. Mr. Adams was in the lumber business in McMinnville.

McMinnvile, Or., Oct. 21 (Special) - The funeral of the late Frank G. Adams, who died Saturday, ocurred here today, conducted by the Knights of Pythias and the Uniform Rank. Mr. Adams was a junior member of the firm of Jones and Adams, pioneer lumberman of this county, and also manager of the McMinnville sash and door factory. He was aged 39. A wife and son survive him.

McMinnville, Ore., Respects Memory of F. G. Adams

Word was received here yesterday from McMinnville, Oregon, that the funeral of F. G. Adams, son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. George D. Flesher of this city, was held there Monday at 2 p.m. Claude Flesher who left here Monday morning arrived there for the funeral, but Mr. Flesher did not reach there until evening. All the stores closed during the funeral out of respect for Mr. Adams, who was a well known lumberman of that city. He was ill but a short time, suffering from typhoid fever.

McMinnville, Or., Oct 25th - (Special) Frank Grant Adams whose death occurred in this city October 19, was one of the most widely-known residents of Yamhill County. He was born nine miles northwest of this city November 18, 1868, and from early youth to the time of his death resided in McMinnville. He was extensively interested in the lumber industry of this part of Oregon; having for several years been a member of the firm of Jones & Adams. When this firm was merged with the Spaulding Logging Company of Newberg, three years ago, Mr. Adams took charge of the company's business in McMinnville.

Mr. Adams was an active member of the Knights of Pythias and the funeral services were in charge of that organization. Besides many friends in McMinnville and elsewhere he left an aged father, O. H. Adams, of McMinnville; wife, son, one brother and seven sisters.
