Born Feb. 3, 1902, in Goodfield to Tim and Leah Plattner Hohulin, he married Marie Meyer on Dec. 22, 1926, in Seneca, Kan. She died Jan. 30, 1940, in Washington. He later married Mary Thomas on Nov. 8, 1942, in Peoria. She died July 26, 1977, in Edwards. One daughter, one son, three brothers, one sister, and one great- grandchild preceded him in death.
Surviving are three sons, Robert K. of Roanoke, Richard M. of Dallas, and Frederick G. of South Bend, Ind.; four daughters, Mrs.
Gary (Rose Marie) Klopfenstein of Mishawaka, Ind., Mrs. Rod (Vera L.) Wallin of Austin, Texas, Mary Jeanette Hohulin of Peoria, and Mrs. David (Alice A.) Koehl of Rio Grande, N.J.; one brother, John of Morton; three sisters, Mrs. Howard (Ella) Musselman and Dorothy Hohulin, both of Peoria, Mrs. Ed (Julia) Sauder of Tremont; 25 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.
He was a machinist at Caterpillar Inc. for 30 years, retiring in 1967. He was a member of Sheridan Road Apostolic Christian Church.
Burial will be in the Apostolic Church Cemetery.
