Funeral services for L.A. Miller, 79, Tyler, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, July 9, 2014, at Lee Springs Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Galilee Cemetery under direction of Brooks-Sterling & Garrett Funeral Directors.
Mr. Miller died July 3, 2014, in Tyler.
He was born Feb. 4, 1935, in Flint and attended Stanton High School. He was a member of Lee Springs Baptist Church and was retired as a general technician from Trane Co.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Afanual Miller Sr. and Lenoa Williams Miller; wife, Lou Jimmie Miller; one brother; and one grandson.
Survivors include his daughters, Reba Guthrie, Arlington, Undrella Reed, Fayetteville, N.C.; brother, Afanual Miller Jr.; sisters, Wanda Foley, Evelyn Coats, Patricia Williams, Marjorie McDaniel, Lena McCullough; and three grandchildren.
Public viewing will be from noon to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. .
