BIOGRAPHY:
Lydia married Edward Perry Mowrer, who was also born in Ohio to Pennsylvania-born parents. Lydia and Edward started their family in Chester, Wabash County, Indiana before moving to northwest Champaign County, Ohio, where they are found in the 1880 Census in nearby Bellflower, McLean County,Ill. Three children are buried with Lydia and Edward in the Shilo Cemetery north of Mahomet Illinois. The other children moved further west after their parents' death, and most can be found in Lost Springs, Marion County, Kansas. Lydia's husbands' will can be found in the McLean County Probate Office, Illinois.
