Passed away due to injuries sustained from an automobile accident. He was born in Beech Grove, Indiana, the son of William Mark and Dixie Faye (Williamson) Denton, Jr.

He was an eighth grade student at Blue River Valley Jr. Sr. High School where he was active with cross country, track and basketball. He loved golf and was looking forward to being a viking golfer. He also sang in the school choir and enjoyed FFA. He was a member of the Mt. Summit Christian Church where he was active in the youth group. He was a member of the National Honor Society and was always willing to do volunteer work. An avid collector, he loved fishing and going to the beach. He also enjoyed paintball, four wheeling and mowing lawns. He enjoyed caring for his pet hamster "Mini" and his cat "Fluffy".

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister: Madelene Mae "Maddie" Denton, at home; two half sisters: Kara Noel Denton and Amy Jo LaFord both of Greenfield; paternal grandmother: Maryetta (husband: Charles) Austin of Ft. Wayne; maternal grandmother: Mary Williamson of Shelbyville, IN; three aunts: Rita (husband: Jerry) Young of Ft. Wayne, Carol Williamson of Indianapolis, IN and Gail (husband: Terry) Thompson of Greenwood; three uncles: Tom (wife: Crystal) Williamson of Boggstown, IN, John (wife: Deena) Williamson of Shelbyville, IN and Alan (wife: Beth) Williamson of Shelbyville, IN; two great aunts: Agnes Thompson of Marion, IN and Hattie Duling of Louisville, KY; several cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather: William Mark Denton, Sr.; maternal grandfather: William Oscar Williamson.
