War Veteran Dies
Mr. Milton S. Westcott, who was injured last Tuesday when the horse attached to a wagon loaded with corn, on which he was riding, turned too quickly, causing the wagon to overturn, died Monday at the home of his sister, Mrs. Clara Barnhard, 621 West Superior street, Ottawa.

Mr. Westcott joined the U. S. service in Ottawa April 30, 1864, at that time being only 15 years old. He served through the whole term of the war. The funeral services were held on Wednesday at 9:30 a. m., Rev. C. A. Briggs, Jr., officiating.
