Christopher C. (Buddy) Leonard, 64, died Sunday morning at the residence of hs daughter, Mrs. Walter B. Van Doren, 5427 LaRoche Ave.

He was a native of Bryan County and had lived in Savannah for the last 25 years. He was a World War I veteran.

Mr. Leonard is survived, in addition to Mrs. Van Doren, by another daughter, Mrs. D. G. Newton, Niagara Falls, NY; two sons, R. W. Leonard and Christopher C. Leonard Jr., both of Savannah; three sisters, Mrs. Lula Kangeter, Mrs. Laura Cowart and Mrs. Jim Futch, all of Pembroke; thee brothers, Cleveland Leonard, Dewey Leonard and Leroy Leonard, all of Pembroke; thee grand children and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at Ashes Branch Primitive Baptist Church, Elder Roy R. Sims, pastor of Atlantic Primitive Church, Savannah. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The funeral procession will leave Irvine Henderson Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Tuesday. The body will be at the funeral home until time to leave for the services.

Pallbearers will be nephews, Harry E. Futch, Edwin H. Futch, W. L. Leonard, Gerald Cowart, John Cowart and Cecil Kangeter.

Honorary pallbearers will be Arnold Parrish, Carl Starling, Kelly Futch, Harry Hagan, Lonnie Starling, Lee McCoy, J. U. Williams, Dan Futch and Cecil Lanier
