Mrs. Elizabeth (Betty) Wynell Montelli, 71, passed away at her home Saturday, March 14, 1998 following an extended illness. She was born July 29, 1926 in Winston-Salem to Edwin and Nannie Creson. She graduated from R. J. Reynolds High School in 1941, and retired from Sears Roebuck & Co. in St. Helena, California. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nannie Creson; her father Edwin Creson, who was a postman in Winston-Salem for 35 years; sisters, Evona Creson Linville; Hazel Craddock; Lucille Hildreth, Margie Inez Creson and brother Edwin F. Creson. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. on Monday, March 16 at Voglers on Reynolda Road. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, March 17 at 11:00 a.m. at Voglers Reynolda Chapel by Chaplain Jimmy Jones. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Winston-Salem/Forsyth County, 1100-C South Stratford Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
