John F. Abendroth, well known in this city, having been a resident here for nearly forty years, died Sunday afternoon at his home, 819 Western avenue, at 1:15 o'clock. Besides his widow, his loss is mourned by two sons, August of this city, and Edward Abendroth of Elgin, Ill., and one daughter, Mrs. E.C. White of Sterling, Ill. The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock from the home, 819 Western avenue, and at 2:15 o'clock at Oak Hill chapel on account of repairs being made at St. Paul's church. Rev. Koerner will officiate.
