Sarah's mother was never married. I have no primary source documentation to prove the Uriah McAnally is the father of Sarah Lakes. What I do have is written communication from the descendants of John Lakes the brother of Sarah Lakes. In this document the descendants indicate that it has been passed down in their family that Uriah McAnally was the father of John Lakes. Octivia Lakes and Uriah according to census records were neighbors for a time. It is my firm belief that Uriah fathered all four of Octava's Children.
