Brandon Anthony Aguiar passed away Friday, Jan., 20, 2006, at his North Richland Hills apartment, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was 23 years old.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at White's Chapel United Methodist Church, 185 S. White Chapel Road in Southlake. Burial: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Family will receive friends from 5 to 9 p.m.

Brandon was born July 25, 1982, at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, to Edward and Olga Aguiar. He attended Benbrook Elementary School and graduated from Southlake Carroll High School in 2001. While attending CHS, Brandon was a member of the varsity football, baseball and co-ed cheerleading competition squad. Brandon served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was stationed at Camp Pendleton in San Diego, Calif.;. He attained the rank of Corporal. Brandon bravely fought for his country in Iraq, Afghanistan and Kuwait in 2003 and 2004. Brandon had the unique ability to light up a room with his smile and infectious laughter. You felt pure love and a sense of happiness being in his presence. He was always the life of the party. Brandon's remarkable character made him stand apart and above all with his courage and determination. He was a selfless person who taught young children, his peers and even adults the importance of love, friendship and personal sacrifice. Brandon's love for life, family and friends made those around him strive to become better people. His strength was immeasurable, for he endured more in his brief 23 years of living than most people will experience in their lifetime. He is an inspiration to everyone who knew him and will be remembered and cherished in our hearts forever. We love you Brandon.
