Born Alma June Duncan on April 11, 1934 to John Harvey and Lena (Rose) Duncan in Dade County, Missouri she was the youngest of nine children.

June spent her early years on the family farm and attended school in Golden City. She married, but later divorced. After moving to Boise she became a Dental Assistant and later went on to be a Production Supervisor at Hewlett-Packard, retiring after twenty years on the job. June served on various community chairs including the President of the Non-Commissioned Officers Wives Club, the office of President of the Idaho Dental Association. June served on the Garden Valley Senior Board of Directors and the office of Secretary Treasurer of the Garden Valley Artisans Guild. She was an avid golfer, loved to travel and was activities at the Boise Senior Center.

Survivors include her daughters, two grandsons, and a brother. Preceded in death by brothers Milton and Rufus Duncan, sisters Bee Butke, Christina Skaggs, Helen Stevens, Eleanor Fanning and Trudy Cluff.
