Rena Fay Cannedy, 91, of Wichita Falls, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2014 in Wichita Falls. She was born on September 1, 1922 in Jermyn, TX to the late William "Bill" Clark and Edna Westmoreland Clark. On June 28, 1968 she married A J Cannedy in Wichita Falls. He preceded her in death on March 23, 2008.
Mrs. Cannedy worked for August Pie Company for many years and then worked and retired from the Rider High School Cafeteria.
She was a longtime member of the Southwest Baptist Church and the VFW Women's Auxiliary.
She is survived by one son, Nowell Smith(Evelyn) of Wichita Falls; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Larry W. Smith, three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at the Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park.
