were married on October 8 [1943] at the
port of embarkation chapel. Chaplain
Robert E. Sheridan. S. J., officiating.

Sara Louise Flowers Stabile Keenan went home to be with the Lord January 22, 2011. She passed away at Americare waters edge. She was 88. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
Sara was born in Florence, SC and after marriage lived with her husband Leaonard william Stabile Jr. in Pittsburgh, PA, until he passed away in 1973.
She later married George F. Keenan of Chicago and Pittsburgh who also preceded her in death in 1998.
She is survived by her son, Leonard William Stabile III and wife Denise Giacoia of Basking Ridge, NJ; and daughter Saralyn Stabile Seiler and husband Jeffrey J Seiler of Deltona, FL; sister, Betty (Flowers) Roberts and brother in law Edward Roberts; sister in law, Louise (Stabile) Frisch and her husband Wilbert (Frankie) Frisch; sisters in law Valerie Stabile and Cathy (Stabile) Good of Pittsburgh, PA; step daughters Sharon (Keenan) Ashby, Nancy (Keenan) Ostermeier; step-son Terry Keenan and his wife Linda of Florida.
Sara also had three grandchildren, Heather Lyn Graham and her husband Bill Hudak of Lighthouse Point, FL, Karina Stabile and Alex J. Stabilee of Long Island, NY.
