Retired Darigold employee and past Delta Grange master Ralph D. Francisco, 70, of 5033 Fir St., Blaine, died Monday at his home. He was born Oct. 27, 1917, in Prescott, Ark., but lived most of his life in Whatcom County.

Besides his activities with the grange, he also had served as a commissioner for Fire District 3. He was a member of Toastmasters of Lynden, United Church of Custer; and Teamsters Local 231.

Survivors include his wife Dorothea Francisco of the family home; two daughters, Carol Kean of Bellingham and Barbara Ferry of Bellevue; two sons, Richard Francisco of Lynden and Brent Francisco of Kelso; two brothers, Garth Francisco of Lynden and Kenneth Dalton of Illinois; a sister, Dorothy Parks of Nooksack; and 10 grandchildren.

Private graveside services will be at Greenacres Memorial Park. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Greenacres Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. William Berney officiating.
