Robert W. "Rob" Teeter, 54, of Bonaparte died at 12:15 P.M. Saturday May 31, 2014 at Great River Hospice in West Burlington. He was born October 8, 1959 at Keosauqua to Elvert O. and Barbara Bailey Teeter and married Ruth A. Miller March 7, 1981 in Bonaparte.
He was a purchasing agent for Mid- AM Building Supply Company, Mt. Pleasant Prior to this he worked at Mt. Hamill and Bonaparte Lumber companies, served 37 years on the Bonaparte Fire Department. In his younger days he played on the Pratt Slow Pitch softball team. Rob was a big Cardinals Baseball and NASCAR fan, especially Mark Martin and riding 4 wheelers with his family.
Surviving are his wife, two daughters, Christina Teeter of Bonaparte and Jessie Teeter of Burlington, two sons, Blake Teeter (Kylely Baker) of Bonaparte and Jeremiah (Jessica) Teeter of Alexandria, MO, a brother, Matthew Teeter (Donna) of Bonaparte, two granddaughters, Lily and Lyla Teeter, several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Ned Teeter and a granddaughter, Payton.

Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Tuesday June 3, 2014 at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua with Keith "Doc" Patterson officiating. Visitation will open at 2 P.M. Monday with family present from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bonaparte Cemetery with Bonaparte Fire Department transporting the casket. Memorials to Bonaparte United Methodist Church, Bonaparte Fire Department or Great River Hospice may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 30011 250th St., Bonaparte, IA 52620
