Doris was a teller with the United Penn Bank, later becoming Mellon in Dallas. She was a member of Dallas United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She was also a member of the Dallas Legion Auxiliary, the Dallas Junior and Senior Womens. Doris also bowled with the Thursday Girl's Bowling League.
She was preceded by her husband, Harold L. Brobst, in 1996; and by a sister, Helen Ide.
Surviving are her son; two daughters; sister; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday from Richard H. Disque Funeral Home Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, with the Rev. Robert Wood, pastor, Dallas United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Fern Knoll Burial Park, Dallas.
