He died at 2 p.m. Monday in his home. Justice of the Peace Earl Yarbrough of Idalou ruled the death due to natural causes.
Dunn was born in and had lived in the Abernathy area for 75 years. He was a member of the New Deal Baptist Church and was a retired farmer. He married Elsie Hazel on Dec. 21, 1927, in Lubbock.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Willie of Abernathy, Franklin of New Deal and Earl of Lubbock; two daughters, Janie Martin and Zelma Goldston, both of Petersburg; 16 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
