Julene D. Hokanson, 84, of Las Vegas, a loving homemaker, passed away May 24, 2014. She was born July 28, 1929, in Salt Lake City, and was a resident of Nevada since 1951.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her devoted husband, of 63 years, G. Kent Hokanson; daughter, Vickie Miller; son, Andrew Hokanson; and brother, Morgan Whitecar.
Julene is survived by her son, Virgil (Marie) Hokanson; grandchildren, Theresa Mossey (Kenneth), Brian Fildes (Robin), Kathy Fildes, Jennifer Hokanson, Scott Hokanson (Sandy) and Sean Hokanson; 14 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-noon Monday, June 2, with services following, both at Palm Mortuary-Downtown, 1325 N. Main St., Las Vegas, NV 89101.
