Aldie "Al" Lingenfelter III, The Villages, Fla., died Tuesday, May 1, 2007, at Tuscany Hospice House. He was born in Bedford and moved to The Villages, Fla., in 2004 from Monticello. He was a retired U.S. Marine Corp Master Sgt., serving in the Vietnam War.
He was a member of Fairway Christian Church, American Legion, AMVETS in Monticello, VFW Post 10126 Fleet Reserve, Vietnam Vets in Bluffton, and Marine Corps Cryptologic Association.
He is survived by his wife, mother, three daughters, two sons in law, a sister, two brothers and four grandchildren.
He was a member of Fairway Christian Church, American Legion, AMVETS in Monticello, VFW Post 10126 Fleet Reserve, Vietnam Vets in Bluffton, and Marine Corps Cryptologic Association.
