Sikeston, MO - Charles Lilbourn Arbaugh, age 91, died May 26, 2014 at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Born March 12, 1923 in Sikeston, Missouri, son of the late Harry Sigmond and Myrtle (Greer) Arbaugh, he was a member of Hunter Memorial Presbyterian Church, a veteran of the U.S. Army/Air Force, having served during World War II, and had worked as a truck driver for L. A. Tucker Truck Line (Inman Truck) before retiring.
On August 14, 1942 he married Betty Louise (McCann) Arbaugh; she preceded him in death.
He is survived by three daughters, Karen Sue Alberts of Kansas City, Missouri, Reta Lee Couch of Hernando,Mississippi and Barbara Louise Sailors of Sikeston; five grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Sigmond DeLisle Arbaugh and Harry Roger Arbaugh; and two sisters, Elizabeth Wanda Lee Miller and Jacquelin Joy Coakes.
