Michael A. "Mike" Good, 67, of Lafayette passed away at 9:27 a.m. Sunday, May 25, 2014 at St. Elizabeth East Hospital. Born March 3, 1947 in Columbus, IN, he was the son of the late Russell and Barbara (Kinnaman) Good. Mike married Nanci Fitzenrider on October 1, 1984 in Lancaster, PA and she survives. He served with the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict from 1967 and was stationed in Vietnam until being honorably discharged in 1970. For over 30 years, Mike had worked at the Eli Lilly Tippecanoe Labs retiring in 1996 as a pipe fitter. He enjoyed playing golf, the time spent at their condo in Estero, FL, and spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving with his wife, Nanci, are his two children, Gregory Good of Nashville, TN and Carri Martin and her husband Rick of Loveland, OH, a brother, Steven G. Good and his wife Cindy of Lafayette, his three grandchildren, Jade Tays, Larissa Martin, and Rylee Martin, and a nephew, Eric Good of Indianapolis. Mike was preceded in death by a niece, Karen L. Good in 2000.
