George Anna was born Sept. 27, 1927, at Garrett, the daughter of John Vernon and Marie Sievers Hall. She was united in marriage to George William Wilkerson on Jan. 20, 1948, at Plano; he preceded her in death on Feb. 26, 2004.
Survivors include her son, Michael Wilkerson of Arcola; daughter, Kathy (Howard) Schrock of Lake Ozark, Mo.; six grandchildren, Katrina (Matt) Redd and Kristi (Brad) Clark, all of Lake Ozark, Mo., Angie Snyder of O'Fallon, Mo., Lori Schrock of Springfield, Ill., Eric Schrock of Lake Ozark, Mo., and Kim (Kirk) Dankenbring of Waverly, Mo.; and 10 great-grandchildren, Jackson and Kassidy Redd of Lake Ozark, Mo., Kaylie and Brady Clark of Lake Ozark, Mo., Michael Snyder of Lake Ozark, Mo., Michaela Wilson and Megan Snyder, both of O'Fallon, Mo., Holden Haarmann of Columbia, Mo., Kennedy and Kameron Dankenbring, both of Waverly, Mo.
George Anna was a member of the Arcola United Methodist Church and the Mattoon Moose Club.
She formerly worked as a clerk at Jarman Hospital in Tuscola for nine years and was a retired farmer.
She was a caregiver all of her life; loved to read; and was interested in all of her grandkids.
