Breauna Gail "Bree Bree" Edwards, 10, of 2312 Ross St. died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2006, at her residence.
She was born Sept. 15, 1995, at King's Daughters' Hospital, the daughter of Ellis Wayne Jr. and Angela Jill Walker Edwards. She had attended the Rykers' Ridge Elementary School since the age of 3 as a special-needs child with cerebral palsy and was currently in the fourth grade. She loved music, especially classical, and loved to listen to her father play music on his keyboard. In 2000 she was awarded a special trip to Disney World by the Dream Factory. She was a member of North Madison Christian Church and enjoyed playing an angel in the Christmas program there.
Surviving besides her parents are one brother, Aaron Joel Edwards; her paternal grandparents, the Rev. Wayne Sr. and Donna Edwards of Brownstown; her maternal grandparents, Benny and Linda Walker of Rising Sun; and several aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents, Chet and Wilma Walker, and Russell Courtney Robinson and Ethel Robinson Ludwig; her paternal great-grandparents, Ezra "Jack" Scudder and Mary Scudder Reynolds; and one uncle.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at North Madison Christian Church, with burial in Grandview Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre and at North Madison Christian Church, 1400 East S.R. 62, from noon Tuesday until the service.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the North Madison Christian Church Journey of Faith or Hospice of King's Daughters' Hospital. Contribution cards are available at the funeral home.
