MRS. L. W. HILL Passes Away.
Mrs. Willie Allen Hill, wife of Conductor L. W. Hill, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. L. Wilson Thursday afternoon at 4:30 after an illness of several days. Mrs. Hill had been in feable health since she fell at the Central Baptist Church three years ago and broke her hip, but for the past two weeks she has been bed fast and gradualy grew worse until the end came. She was born in Buckingham County, Virginia, and moved to this city thirty years ago, where she has since resided. Mrs. Hill was 74 years of age, and was a good Christian lady with a loving and kind disposition. She has many friends here who regret to hear of her death. Mrs. Hill is survived by her husband, one son, Allen Hill, two daughters, Mrs. H. C. Price and Mrs. W. L. Wilson, all of Hinton, in addition to many friends. The funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2:30 at the home, 218 Fifth Avenue, by Rev. H. P. Hackney and S. D. Weeks, after which the remains will be laid to rest in Hill Top cemetery. The bereaved family have the sympathy of their many friends.
