Obituary:

Thomas E. BOUCHARD, Brule, died Monday in an Ashland hospital on his 83rd birthday. He was born August 9, 1871, in Spring Lake, Mich., and lived in Duluth most of his life. He was a retired marine engineer for the Tomlinson Steamship Co., and had been employed by the firm for more than 50 years. He married the former Laura GINGRAS in Superior in 1906. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic parish, Iron River, Hector Swift post, Spanish-American War Veterans, and was a honorary member of the Knights of Columbus. Surviving are his wife; three sons, Harry, Ashland; Charles, Brule; and Jerome, in Greenland; a brother, Napoleon, Duluth; and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 9 a. m. today in St. Michael's church, Iron River, with the Rev. Fr. MILLER celebrating the solemn requiem high mass. Arrangements are by the Iron River funeral home.
