Annie Elizabeth Ford Coleman, 92, of Georgetown died Thursday, May 8, 2014, in Georgetown County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, 2014, in Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Alphonso N. Scott, pastor. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

A wake will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2014, at Wilds Courtyard Chapel.

Mrs. Coleman was born March 8, 1922, in Georgetown, a daughter of Albert Ford and Rebecca Goings Ford.

She was married to Robert Coleman on May 25, 1955.

Mrs. Coleman was a longtime member of Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church. For years, she worked as a housekeeper in various hotels and private homes.

She is survived by five daughters, Orine Wilson of Georgetown, Sylvia Meza of Loris, Verda Coleman Rutledge, Shirl Baker and Faye Coleman, all of Milwaukee, WI; two sons, James Paige of Bronx, NY, and Melvin Coleman of Augusta, GA.

Funeral service arrangements are entrusted to Wilds Funeral Home, LLC.
