Infant daughter and third child of Russell Akin and Sue Edna Bailey Akin. She was seven months old at time of death. She is buried between the graves of her grandparents, Claiborne Lee Bailey and Alice Elizabeth Pogue Bailey, and her brother Ollie Wayne Akin. Her grave is unmarked but well known in the family.

NOTE: My mother, Frances Elizabeth Akin Dedman, pointed out the grave of Gladys Emise Akin, her sister, several times to my older sister and me on visits to Pisgah Cemetery. J M Dedman.
