Michael Armona Obituary

Michael John Armona, 13, of Hawley died Friday, Oct. 22, in Palmyra Township.

He was a student at Wallenpaupack Middle School of Hawley and was a member of the wrestling and baseball team. He was a junior member of the National Rifle Association and loved hunting and fishing. He was a member of the St. Vincent DePaul Church, Dingman Hills.

The son of Thomas and Susan Ann Schneider Armona, he was born on March 20, 1991, in Pequannock, N.J.

Survivors include his parents; his brother, Thomas M. Armona; his sister, Katrina Armona; paternal grandfather, Thomas Armona of Hawley; maternal grandmother, Poldi Schneider of Old Saybrook, Conn.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, at St. Vincent DePaul Church, 101 St. Vincent Drive, Dingman Hills with the Rev. Paul Mullen officiating.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26, at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 W. Harford St., Milford.

Burial will take place in Green Gates Cemetery, Hawley.
