Linda Sue Coleman, 70, of Ellerbe, N.C., passed away Monday, May 5, 2014, at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst.
Sue was born November 1, 1943 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Jesse and Blondie Murphy Coleman. She was a member of Saron Baptist Church and had retired from Hanes Hosiery.
She was preceded in death by brothers, J.C., Tommy, Jimmy and Donald Coleman; and sister, Audrey Collins.
Surviving are her sister, Pat Mills and husband Coy of Ellerbe; their family, who Sue thought of as her own, Amy Berry and husband Lee and Jodie Mills, Coleman, Jack and Ava Berry; and many other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday at Carter Funeral Home Ellerbe. Interment will follow in Ellerbe Cemetery.
