Elizabeth Genene Rainey, 44, of Ozark, a beautiful and gentle person, left this world to be in the Kingdom of Heaven. Liz, as she was known to friends and family, passed away January 6, 2006, in her home, following a long and courageous battle with a chronic illness. Elizabeth was born in Springfield, Missouri, on April 18, 1961. Her main interest was her love for family,friends, pets, collecting figures of angels, and she enjoyed fishing. Elizabeth is survived by her husband of 25 years,John Rainey; her only child, a son, whom she had much joy and pride, Logan Rainey and his wife, Shaylea; her loving parents Betty and Robert Dennis; a brother, James Dennis; a sister, Reina Dennis; and her loving mother-in-law and father-in-law, Pat and Gary Rainey. Other close family includes James and Michael "Mikie" Dameron; Bobby and Martha Dameron, and Dwight and Karen Massey. Liz was preceded in death by grandmother Mary Dameron-Rhodes, and a sister, Tibby Ann Dennis. Liz was much loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 10 in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
