Lawrence S. Ward Resident of Oakland, CA Prominent attorney and educator Larry Ward passed away peacefully surrounded by family and loved ones on October 21, 2012. Born on October 8, 1941 in Orange, NJ, Larry is survived by his mother Leona, his daughter Lawren, son Lawrence, sisters Beverly, Rosey, and Carol, significant other Jennifer, grandchildren Annecea, Morgan, Rhonda, and Zakai. Larry was predeceased by his father Paul and son Morgan. Larry touched many lives in the community as an attorney, high school and college instructor, pilot trainer, coach and musician. Visitation is Sunday October 28, 2012, 2:00-6:00 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes in Oakland, CA. The Memorial service will be held on November 10, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Beebe Memorial Cathedral, 3900 Telegraph Ave. (at 40th St.), Oakland, CA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Larry to either Peralta or Sutter Hospice. Put a note in the memo line "Lawrence S.
