This was sent to me:
It looks like this information came from a burial record, and it is not totally accurate.
He was Robert C. Clarke, a wealthy hardware dealer. The 25 Apr 1893 Atlanta Constitution (pg 5) says he died "yesterday" at his home on Peachtree St. His grave may now be unmarked - I don't know as I've never been there, but it was not in "potters field."
The same paper on the 27th (pg 7) reported his rather elaborate funeral as having been "yesterday," and on pg 2 reported that the convention of the Southern Hardware Jobber's Association adjourned for his funeral.
His son, Robert Jr. is memorial 109095558 and his wife is 35646923. I have no clue why they weren't buried in the same place he was. Do you?
