Paula my beautiful wife
Paula died Saturday at 3:28 in the afternoon. She was very peaceful and very courageous with her journey. She smiled as long as she could smile and she loved as long as she could love. I don't know anyone as strong as her. Paula loved talking to people, being friends with people, making people feel good, making people laugh, and enjoying life to the fullest every day up until the end when she could not physically do it anymore. I was blessed to have been married for 32 years with her. It was a journey that for most people would be a dream. God had a plan for Paula. I don't know what it was for sure. Some of that plan may have been for when she got her cancer and went to Tammy Walker cancer Center, she would help all the people she could possibly help through their cancer journey with her smile, love, and friendship. Part of it for sure was for Paula to have three wonderful caring loving children. Two of our children are married and we had our first grandchild born from Sara and Parker on January 7. Paula said many times that God blessed her by being able to see her first grandchild before she died. When people ask the question is a glass half-full or is the glass half empty, with Paula it was always half-full, she always tried to look at the good side. No matter how difficult the times were she always looked at the positives and tried to feel good about the situation to grow upon it and make herself, and other people feel good. All of our friends, and some people that we do not even know have been very supportive of Paula and me during this difficult journey. As we are taught, Paula is in a better place right now. I have some very very good friends that have been hugely supportive of me and I know will be supportive for me through this difficult time. God bless everyone that has been so kind to us, loving to us, and helpful to us. Sincerely your friend, Bob.
