Walter Marion Powell better known as "Bud". He was born to Lonnie Dean Powell and Lulu Mabel (Milnes) Powell.
He first married Ada Laura (Powell) Nace-Powell. They had 5 children in this union. She passed making him a widower. Her body was cremated and is with one of their daughters. I have not created a memorial for her until I get approval to do so from them.
He then married his 2nd wife Zanea who is linked to this memorial. She brought a son with her into the marriage. But they did not have any children together.
He was a paraplegic from the military but he could still bowl, swim, and etc. (He resented me offering him a blanket when he had spasms). Just because he was handicapped he wanted no pity. He repaired wheel chairs. He loved having his family around him and was a loving father.
Later, He was put into an assisted living home (after his 2nd wife passed away) and a lady that was there told me she was blind and he was so kind to her and he read to her. Which is just the way he was. A loving, caring, and compassionate man. He is truly missed.
