The son of Joseph and Mary Mulligan Cullen, he was born March 1, 1918, in Hamptonburgh. He was a lifetime area resident.
He was an employee of the maintenance department of the Village of Washingtonville and a former employee of Central Hudson Company.
Mr. Cullen was a communicant of St. Mary's R. C. Church, a member of Monell Engine Company, St Mary's Nocturnal Adoration Society and the Black Rock Fish and Game Club.
Survivors include his widow, the former Vera Clark; two sons, Thomas and Lawrence, both at home; a brother, Charles of Rock Tavern; and a sister, Margaret of Rock Tavern.
A funeral mass will be said at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's R. C. Church.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the Blooming Grove Ambulance Corps or Arden Hill Hospital.
