My great Uncle George Knox Tousley married Mrs. Viola Mary (Cole) Brown (Luther's mother) when he was but just a little guy. Whether or not Uncle George adopted Luther is unknown; however Uncle George loved him as his own and Luther is listed on Uncle George's obituary as the only survivor.
