Donald Adams (1958 - 2014)

Funeral Services Donald Joe Adams, 55 of Madill, Okla. passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at the Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas.

He was born on June 22, 1958 in Durant, Okla. to the late Alberta Bow Keener and Earl David Newcomb. He was raised in Madill where he graduated high school in 1976. He married Lisa Jean Robinson on March 10, 1980.

Donald Joe worked at the Marshall County District 1 as heavy equipment operator for 26 years. He served as a Reserve Deputy for the Marshall County Sheriff's office for 6 years before going to work for Rustin Concrete for the past 8 years.

Donald Joe was a member of the Little City Baptist Church and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, teaching hunter safety courses. He enjoyed flying RC airplanes, riding ATV's and participating annually with the toy run. Donald loved working outdoors.

When the sun was out Donald wanted to be outside. He had a passion for his puppy dogs especially Bella.

He is survived by: wife, Lisa Adams, Madill, Oklahoma; children, Allen David Adams and wife Courtney, Sherman, Texas Amanda Dawn Adams and Lyndell Rigsby, Madill, Okla., Andrew Don Adams and wife Rae Lynn, Madill; one grandchild on the way.

Ridge Adams Donald Joe was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Pete and Joe, one sister: Clara Bow.

Visitation will be Friday 10 am to 9 pm at Watts Funeral Home, Madill with a family hour from 7 pm to 8 pm.

Services will be Saturday, April 26 at 10 am at the Watts Memorial Chapel, Madill. Kenny Stacy will officiate the services. Interment will be at the Linn Cemetery, Madill. Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill.
