Gabe was the son of Curtis and Annette Garner of Carthage and the brother of Jessica Garner of Joplin. He was also a beloved grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.
Gabe was a scholar and an athlete at Sarcoxie Middle School and attended church at Fairview Christian in Carthage. He was a smart, loving young man; and all who knew him were recipients of his warmth, thoughtfulness, and humor.
Gabe had accepted Jesus as his Savior and was baptized on June 24, 2012 – the Garner family takes great comfort in knowing that Gabe is whole and safe with The Lord.
Gabe is survived by his loving parents and sister; maternal grandparents Rex and Frances Bohrer of Erie, Kan.; paternal grandparents Buddy and Larma Garner of Carthage, Mo.; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, April 24 at Fairview Christian Church, Carthage.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, April 25 at Fairview Christian Church, Carthage.
