Age 84, of Phoenixville, PA, died on Wednesday, December 28, 2005, in Phoenixville Hospital. Born in Springfield, MA, Mrs. Henwood had been a Camden resident for 50 years prior to moving to Phoenixville 1-1/2 years ago. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed bingo and trips to Atlantic City.
Mrs. Henwood is survived by her loving husband, Jerome P. Henwood, her seven children: Pat Bessinger and her husband, Ralph, Jerry Henwood and his wife Karla, Tom Henwood and his wife Sally, Michelle Longmire and her husband Peter, Chris Henwood and his wife Anne, Maryellen Shortle and her husband Jim, and Colleen Alicea and her husband, Lou, 14 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Grace Church, 225 Bellevue Ave., Penndel, PA. Interment will follow in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
