Frederick "Fred" Warren Ludlow, Jr., 62, died Sunday, April 20, 2014 in the Marion VANIHCS.

He was born in Marion, Indiana on November 8, 1951 to the late Frederick Warren and Naomi Margaret (Bosworth) Ludlow, Sr. He married Wanda McKinney on June 1, 1971, and she survives.

Fred was a 1969 graduate of Oak Hill High School and a veteran of the United States Army. He formerly worked at the Marion VA Medical Center, Glass Containers and RCA. Fred enjoyed playing guitar, pool, Euchre, basketball, and board games, especially Yahtzee. His favorite thing was to have his family over for dinner.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Ludlow, Marion; daughter, Heather Travis, Huntington; son, Jacob Warren (Michelle) Ludlow, Gas City; grandchildren, Amber (Alex) Hanson, Lacey (Nickolas) Guhl, Olivia Newsome and Lillian Ludlow; great-grandchildren, Clarity Travis and Wesley Hanson; sisters, Mona (Vic Coffel) Cook, Gas City, Cindy (Frank Kibble) McCormick, Fairmount, Teri (Barry) Bunker, Converse, Janice (Rob) Landfert, Fairmount; brothers, Jim (Lynda) Ludlow, Avon and Tim (Sue) Ludlow, Greenwood; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews; and mother-in-law, Zella McKinney, Marion.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Naomi Ludlow, Sr.; father-in-law, Homer McKinney; and son-in-law, Mike Travis.

Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Friday, April 25, 2014 at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main Street, Gas City, Indiana.

There will be no service.
