Mrs. Elsie R. Gilbert, 53,
wife of Earl W. Gilbert of Rt. 1., Myersville, died unexpectedly Thursday Morning at her home.
Born near Wolfsville, she was the daughter of Charles C. and Annie M. (Lewis) Kuhn.
She was a member of the Harmony Church of the Brethren.
Besides her husband,she is survived by two daughters,Mrs. Mary F. Tinney and Mrs. Phyllis J. Burdette both of Rt. 1., Myersville; one son, Dennis W. Gilbert, at home; three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Wolfe of Smithsburg and Mrs. Rosa Kline of Myersville, Mrs. Mabel Jenkins of Culpepeper,Va.; two brothers, Austin L. Kuhn of Smithsburg and David F. Kuhn of Hagerstown; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Harmony Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Basil Grossnickle officiating. Burial will be in the Harmony Cemetery.
Friends may call anytime at the Bittle Funeral Home in Myersville and at the church one hour prior to services.
