Note: Death certificate shows date of birth June 10, 1835 but states he was 71 yrs 10 months and 10 days old at the date of death which would put date of birth at April 19, 1846: A review of Confederate Pension records shows that BG Armstrong stated his date of birth was June 11, 1846. Due to Mr. Armstrong testifying on Sep 26, 1908 to his date of birth, that is date used for date of birth.
