Grand Coteau- Funeral services for Patricia Castille, age 63, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 4, 2009, in the St. Charles Catholic Church in Grand Coteau. Interment will follow in the St. Charles Cemetery.

Patricia was born in Church Point, and was a long-time resident of New Iberia. She died on Monday, August 31, 2009, at her home. She worked as a Regional Property Manager. Patricia was a very generous person who gave without question. She was the first woman to be elected to the National Apartment Association Board of Directors, while living In Lafayette. She was a member of the Lafayette Acadiana Apartments Association, and she also started the Pittsburg Apartments Association.

Patricia touched the lives of many and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mourning her death yet cherishing her memories are her two sons: Blaise Broussard of Lafayette, and Brett Guillot of Lafayette; two sisters, Juliette Dubois of New Iberia, and husband Lenny, and Mercedes Dupre of Shreverport, LA., and three grandchildren; Parker, Connor and Oliver Guillot; her two nieces and two nephews who were very special to her.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Leo Joseph and Claida Fruge Castille, and one brother, Steve Castille.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sibille Funeral Home of Grand Coteau, Louisiana.
