MISHAWAKA - Georgia Irene (Jones) Kelley, 92, of Mishawaka, passed away on April 16, 2014. Georgia was born on February 28, 1922, in Kokomo, Indiana, to John and Dora (Crone) Jones. She graduated from Lapel High School in Lapel, Indiana, and attended Central Normal College.

Georgia was married to Clarence "Whoop" Kelley on August 30, 1941; they were married 61 years until "Whoop" preceded her in death on September 19, 2002.

Georgia is survived by two sons, David Kelley of Mishawaka, Steve (Nancy) Kelley of South Bend; one daughter, Karen Kelley of Osceola; two grandsons, Kevin (Leah) and Sean (Alison) Kelley, both from Lombard, Illinois; three beautiful great-granddaughters, Katie, Ruby and Cora, all of Lombard, Illinois; and one sister, Betty Harold of Indianapolis.

Georgia was a longtime member of Coalbush United Methodist Church and the Ladies Aid Society. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed life and spending time with her family and friends. Georgia was the Corporate Secretary for Kelley Manufacturing Corporation.

Visitation will be held today, April 18, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. The funeral service will be held at Coalbush United Methodist Church on Saturday, April 19, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior in the church. Pastor Mary Eileen Spence will officiate. Burial will follow the funeral at Ferrisville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to The Memorial and Honor Program of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , P.O.
